The day started in typical valley fashion. I was in a chair out on the porch, cradling a cup of coffee in one hand, and petting my dog with the other.
That was at dawn — sixteen hours ago. I had no plans to write in the ancient journal then. But no man or woman who ever lived could walk away from the thing my friends and I saw today — uninspired!
The four of us have agreed. It is time. As I open the rare, jeweled tablet, Barbara is requesting that I use her pen. Zach is predicting that our story will reach good people in faraway places, like America, or Canada. One thing's for sure. If you ever get a chance to visit us over here in Blue Valley — ask anyone you meet — every person in this town will love talking to you about this story! |
